About Abigail
Background
Abigail was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Jacksonville, Florida when she was eight. She began her dance journey at three years old. Abigail trained in all styles of dance growing up; including tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, musical theatre, and gymnastics. Although she always enjoyed singing and dancing, Abigail fell in love with musical theatre in high school. Performing in summer musicals was pivotal in forming her dream of being on Broadway.
Artistic development
Abigail was raised in a musical family, having a minister as a father and a mother who taught piano lessons. Her family instilled in her a love of music and creativity. Abigail began writing songs the moment she learned to put words on paper. Writing music has always been an emotional outlet for her. She is currently learning how to produce her own music and share it with the world. For now, you can follow her on Instagram and TikTok @abigaillynnmusic
Later years
Abigail enjoyed being on her dance studio's competition team for many years. Her team competed jazz, tap and lyrical numbers consistently. She loved learning from other artists and being inspired by their talent. In addition to classes at a studio, she attended a performing arts Highschool where she was trained in Ballet, Pointe, and Modern. She now attends Oklahoma City University as a Dance Performance major. Abigail is receiving top notch training in ballet, tap, musical theatre, precision dance, and jazz. As part of her degree, she also takes acting classes, vocal lessons, and dance pedagogy courses.
